Cranberry Cosmo Cupcakes
a couple of girl friends and i are going down to santa barbara for the weekend to visit chris & watch Sex and the City 2! naturally, chris requested for cupcakes… but not just any cupcakes, but Cosmopolitan cupcakes. very festive! i googled for a recipe, and to my surprise, a few already existed. after reading the recipes i decided to go with a fellow wordpress blogger, Crazy Knitting Lady. the recipe incorporated vodka & frozen raspberry juice as a glaze. i thought that was very creative. unfortunately, i could only find frozen cranberry juice… but i think it worked well with the dried cranberries in the batter. the cupcakes are a little too sweet & fruity for my taste, but they’re still definitely delicious… i believe Carrie would approve!

i love your pics. what type of camera do you use? I am an aspiring food photographer. do you use any software to touch up your photos too? please help me out. local art student
I use a Nikon D3000. I edit my photos with iPhoto first & then a second editing & resizing (for blog size) on Photoshop. I basically just up the contrast so the colors pop more. just play with iPhoto & Photoshop & you’ll definitely see the difference in your pictures. best of luck & let me know if you start blogging them :0)
